By the time baby 4 is on the way, our family has pretty much become a well-oiled machine of love, laughter, and a lot of snacks. Is this the tie-breaker baby? The cherry on top? Even though it was unexpected, it is definitely one more sweet reason to celebrate!
We found out the gender nearly a month ago, however this pregnancy has felt so much more intimate and private to me. It’s gone by so much faster too. Maybe because I’m not miserable.
I had so much intention of sharing every detail, and I intend to catch up on that. There is no reason for pregnancy to be miserable. I wish I had the tools I discovered this time for every pregnancy prior and during infertility. But maybe “the fourth time is a charm for me,” will mean a more enjoyable pregnancy for you. Nope!!! It’s a GIRL!
This girl is such a sassy lady already. The entire ultrasound she was kissing and making “duck lips” with her fingers splayed out, not in the usual fist.
If you made it this far, you’re super privy to the pregnancy scoop and get the most embarrassing details. Are you one of those moms who ALWAYS know without fail the gender of your babies? I usually am. This time the only reason I was 51% sure it was a girl, is with Roush, our son, I had gas so bad I could supply the US Army with mustard gas. I would lay in bed every night and look at John and say “there is NO WAY a girl would do this to me.” That single detail was the one big difference between my one boy and three girl pregnancies. Praise the Lord that is not a factor this time. There you have it. Now you know how personal we will be getting on this blog. I feel like in pregnancy and motherhood there are so many topics women aren’t willing to talk about but make a huge difference in our ability to thrive.
